COETRY is a performance which includes stand-up comedy, funny songs, and funny poetry. ("Show me the FUNNY!")
It's not. We just like doing it.
COETRY is an opportunity for poets, musicians and comics to show their stuff in front of real people, and a chance for real people to be entertained by some great local talent!
You may experience a slight sense of euphoria, excitability, and loud clapping noises in your ears. If you have diarreha, constipation, sexual dysfunction, flatulence, and/or extreme mood swings, you are probably a comic.
Most likely you're avoiding doing something else that is difficult or boring, like paying bills or cleaning cat vomit off of your couch. Try using every moment in your life as an inspiration for creativity! Write a song about the different kinds of taxes listed on your phone bill! Pen a poem about sofa puke!
